A: The web site migration service available at Zzyb Design is completely free of charge and involves transferring all your files, databases and emails from your current web hosting provider to your brand new web hosting account with us. We’ll also fine–tune all the settings necessary for your websites to be fully operational on our cutting–edge cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are completely capable of moving just about any web site. With years of experience in the industry, they’re well–versed in the inner workings of our hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other commonly used Control Panels. For them, moving a custom application with plenty of custom libraries is as elementary as transferring a plain WordPress–based weblog.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time interval, because there are a lot of variables, among them the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our very best to move your web site within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (if the content is not large).

A: We don’t request any personal info. We’ll require, though, the login info for your old hosting account along with the name of the web site that you want to move.

A: While we migrate your website, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your former web hosting provider. After the migration is finished, we will make sure that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your content is not compromised before telling you that the transfer is complete. After that, we will instruct you how to move the domain name over to your web hosting account with us and how to edit the DNS settings.

A: No. Apart from your login credentials for the Control Panel, we do not need anything. We’ll never touch base with your hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: Yep. We support all common Linux–based web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–powered web hosting platforms, because we don’t provide Windows hosting solutions ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary site building and management tools like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
